In this course, we will weave a small pack basket the size that would fit a gray squirrel with reed around 5” tall.

We will go over the history of pack baskets, materials, tools, and treating baskets after the class. These baskets are made out of premium reed. Students will have an option for the rim including flat oval reed, birch bark or red osier dogwood. We will also have various color reeds available to give your basket a little color

The instructor will go through the process of making the basket step-by-step ensuring all will walk away with a finished basket. At the end of class, students will get take home supplies for a second basket.
